Shadows are around us everyday--metaphorically and physically. For Autumn time, there is the literal low sun and the metaphorical shadows that represent our haunted past or subconscious. This is the theme, the focus, and inspiration.

Focus on "shadows" in the sense that your characters have secrets, they're haunted by a memory, or even within themselves. There is a wide range of topics you can tackle with this one.

For Artists

Explore what "shadows" mean to you either literally within your artwork or the meaning behind it. I'm sure there is a lot of inspiration behind the concept of shadows within the artist community already.

For Photographers

Shadows are already your best friend in your photographs, I'm sure, contrasted by the lighting of the day. Autumn is a beautiful time of year for this. You can also play around with the metaphorical shadows as well.
